This site is a digital supplement to Simon Barrow's book 'Solid Mental Grace: Listening to the Music of Yes' (Cultured Llama Publishing), which was launched at the London Palladium on 25th March 2018 as part of the UK fan convention organised to mark the band's remarkable fiftieth anniversary. Like the book, it aims to unpack the musical creativity, variety and value of Yes music, highlighting an artistic imagination within its rich and varied forms that defies ready-made labels.
